R v DL
Tim was instructed to provide pre-charge representation for a client who had recently been arrested and interviewed for Rape. Tim gathered evidence such as witness statements, social media posts and photographs which significantly undermined the account provided by the complainant. Tim also obtained numerous character references and submitted detailed pre-charge representations to the Crown Prosecution Service. The prosecution took no further action against the client.

Tim was instructed by the client for pre-charge representation for alleged offences of Possessing Indecent Images of Children. Tim represented the client in police interview in which a carefully drafted prepared statement was presented. Tim then submitted detailed pre-charge representations to the Crown Prosecution Service along with supporting evidence such as medical reports and character witness statements. The prosecution decided to take no further action against the client.
